HOG Chapter Ride - Riding the Ridge

HOG Chapter Ride, come join Chuck P and Chris E as they lead a ride along the Lookout Mountain Parkway to the gorgeous Desoto Falls.

We’ll depart from RHD, immediately following the HOG Chapter Meeting. The route will take us through Scottsboro, to Ft. Payne, where we’ll make a stop at the Ft. Payne Cabin Historic Site (which is a HOG 50-Rides checkpoint). We’ll then head up to the Lookout Mountain Parkway, stopping at the Desoto State Park Lodge for lunch.

After lunch, we’ll cruise further along the Lookout Mountain Parkway to the Desoto Falls. The Return Trip will be through Mentone and Scottsboro, with a pit stop around Gurley. Saddle time is approximately 4 hours, 200 miles. Assuming a departure by 1030, we should be back at RHD by 4:30pm
